The Spring Valley Community Alliance has teaming up with Street Stewards—the San Diego–based nonprofit behind the Adopt‑A‑Block movement—to turn our neighborhood map bright green, one block at a time. Street Stewards’ model is simple and empowering: residents, families, and local businesses “adopt” a block and take a quick weekly walk to scoop up litter, building pride while restoring curb appeal across Spring Valley. Their platform makes claiming a block intuitive and community‑friendly, so you can start whenever it fits your routine.
