Clean Ups
Check out our Community Calendar for monthly events were we walk the community picking up trash and noting any concerns that should be shared with proper authorities, such as illegal dumping and graffiti removal. In the Fall, Winter, and Spring months, we are out there from 8:00-10:00 am weather permitting. In the summer, we move to 7:00-9:00 am to beat the heat.
We can always use more hands to cover more area. Please bring your own gloves and a bucket or trash bag and join us at one of the following locations.
Bancroft Drive
Volunteers meet at Lamar Park at 3180 Bancroft Drive and are split into multiple groups. Routes covered are all along Bancroft Drive and the connecting streets. Volunteers meet back at Lamar Park.
La Presa
Volunteers meet in the parking lot behind the Big Lots near Orville St & Safford Ave., and walk together for this route. This is a 1 mile loop East on Oroville, South on Gillespie, West on Jamacha Blvd and North on Sweetwater back to Orville.
Grand Ave
Volunteers meet at the intersection of Jamacha Road & Grand Ave and split into multiple groups. Routes covered are South along Grand Ave and the connecting streets.
